  • AnticoagulantsAnticoagulants: In human study, shea butter/oil was shown to lower increases in postprandial factor VII coagulant concentrations (6; 3; 7).
  • Antiinflammatory agents, antirheumatic agentsAntiinflammatory agents, antirheumatic agents: Based on anecdotal evidence, sterols in shea butter have shown positive effects on symptoms associated with rheumatism.
  • Antilipemic agentsAntilipemic agents: In human study, shea butter/oil was shown to lower increases in postprandial lipids (6; 3; 7).
  • Nasal decongestantsNasal decongestants: In human study, shea butter was shown to produce relief from nasal congestion (2).
