  • CopperCopper: Based on in vitro study, amalaki forms chelates with copper, reducing the amount of copper absorbed (15).
  • IronIron: Based on in vitro study, amalaki forms chelates with iron, reducing the amount of iron absorbed (15).
  • GlucoseGlucose: Based on animal study, amalaki may reduce blood glucose (8; 24).
  • LipidsLipids: Based on human and animal study, amalaki may reduce serum cholesterol levels (10; 8).
